The workflow proposed with H2T can be summarized in 3 steps.
By repeating Steps 2-3 it is possible to build multiple controllers, for different toolboxes, starting from a single system description, in an homogeneous environment.

Step 1 Model

Describe your system in an unified modeling framework.

  • Extension of standard Matlab® State-Space representation.
  • Support for Large-Scale models with multiple subsystems.
  • Definition of limits on signals.

Step 2 Parameters

Build the H2T object and set control parameters.

  • The H2T object carries both model and control parameters descriptions.
  • Automatic checking of missing parameters for a given target toolbox.
  • Parameter setting with consistency check.

Step 3 Controller

Build the controller object for the desired toolbox.

  • Single method of the H2T object.
  • No need to call the specific toolbox constructor.

HYCON2 Matlab Toolbox (H2T) is developed and maintained at the DYnamical Systems, Control and Optimization (DySCO) research unit, IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca.
